Capture the Flag Rules of Conduct

  1. Teams are limited to four people. All people in a team must be physically present unless stated otherwise during the event.
  2. If there are prizes being awarded for this Capture the Flag you must be in attendance at the related conference or event to claim them.
  3. Challenges may be removed, changed, or added to the board after and during the event. Point values assigned to challenges may be changed at any time.
  4. The game site, scoreboard, ctf313.com, conference website, related social media, and any and all other assets owned, run by, or used by the event are out of scope for hacking, except if explicitly stated otherwise. Attacking these may result in score penalties, disqualification, or removal from the event at the discretion of ctf313 or event staff.
  5. Don't hinder or sabotage other Capture the Flag participants.
  6. Follow the code of conduct of the event or conference hosting the Capture the Flag.
  7. Sharing flags or clues outside of your team is prohibited.
  8. Capture the Flag staff or event staff reserve the right to hand out penalties or disqualifications for any reason, at any time, at their discretion. If you don't know whether or not you should be doing something, ask.
  9. Be excellent to each other.
